Memories unwind,
As old scars remind.
(Smiles, joy and laughter,...
... the tears that followed after)
Like shackles within,
Fear starts setting in.
(So afraid to try,...
... thinking the risk is too high)
Unreasonable,
Uncontrollable.
A permanent mark,
Wicked weakness of the heart.
Emo poet wannabe ;)
